"If you ever wondered what Johnny Marr would sound like after spending way too much time in a pub, this is it. Rough, mischievous, and utterly charming stuff." - Here Comes the Flood
"[Stuck Somewhere] is a perfect piece of indie pop." - Super World Indie Tunes
"[Stuck Somewhere is] a truly square-edged take on the new jangle-gaze sound." - Janglepop Hub
This debut release from stars on fire is a hard-to-define batch of songs that are jangly, but not quite jangle pop; noisy, but not actually noise pop, and dreamy, but not really shoegaze. Heck, even the production style is simultaneously lo-fi and well-recorded! The guitars are shambling and distorted, the vocals are morose (but not over-bearing) and the songs themselves are pretty great. This is a cool EP that kinda comes from left-field and is definitely well worth checking out!
