We are treated to 11 tracks of pure dubwise flavour as they unveil the brand new 'Roots Radical' album project from I David, a fantastic exploration through reggae music's history and future all packed into one extensive project. We are treated to some fantastic compositions, including the sweeping melodicas of 'Ital Corner', dubwise drifts of 'Seven Seals Open' and of course the hard hitting, slower rolls of 'Drop Off'. This is a project to take in from start to finish, one to zone out from the world with and enjoy!"-Juno DownloadTitle: Roots Radical

11 stunning Dubwise Cuts to take you on a journey through Roots & Culture.
'Chelmsford Shuffle' kicks things off in a Sound-system rumbler reminiscent of the Scientists classic ‘Drum Song Dub’ which runs in to one of our favorites from the album 'Daniels Melody', a perfect blend of guitar skanks, bingi percussion and dubbed flexi hits compliment its deep rolling bass-line.
'Dem a Run' comes in on a more Rootical vibe, reminiscent of early 80s Dub music out of Tubbys studio focusing more on the melodica and Dubwise percussion with a heavy weight bass-line that carries the riddim along from the start to finish.
'Drop off' is a version that hits you from the get go with its haunting melodic crunchy bass-line & sharp chords providing a melancholic yet upbeat vibe.
'Eastman Style', heavily influenced by Augustus Pablo, the track is a laid back homage to 80s Roots & Culture.
Out of that and into this we have ‘In Thy Site Oh Jah' a beautiful combination of Rockers and Steppas, the intricate melodies of the melodica & heart beat like rhythm backing percussion clears the mind and puts the soul at ease.
'Inna Rockers' mood picks up the pace once again, delivering a heavy weight new version of Tubbys/Pablo's track of the same name, militantly rebellious, some real fiyah to dash pon Babylon
'Ital Corner' is another classic that has been given the I David treatment, heavy melodics meeting a pulsating bass-line most certain make the dance one foot skank!
'Joy in Addis' is another tribute to the great Augustus, featuring a powerful combination of glockenspiel & melodica that makes up the instantaneously recognizable hook carrying us into the next track 'Seven Seals Open' an easy going Dubwise bubbler that follows on from ‘Joy In Addis’ perfectly.
Finishing the LP we have 'Sidewalk Killer' another great classic brought up to date by I David, down tempo and easy on the ear it is a perfect outro to an album full of vibes
