Kid Creole is actually August Darnell Browder who used to be in Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band. In the early 1980s he formed The Coconuts with his wife, Adriana "Addy" Kaegi and Andy "Coati Mundi" Hernandez. Hard to describe this interesting vocal group, but they have maintained a loyal fan following for a couple of decades now. We proudly present three of their best albums for the first time anywhere on CD. Doppelganger originally came out in 1982. Fresh Fruit In Foreign Places hit the Billboard charts in 1981.
