Adapted from Heinrich von Kleist's 16th century novella, the story of Michael Kohlhaas is considered one of the first examples of modern literature. This album contains music composed for the 2014 film Age of Uprising: The Legend of Michael Kohlhaas. But this is more than just a simple soundtrack: while it presents some of the music from the film, it also includes many pieces that accompanied its genesis but were not retained in the final edit, thus providing an extension of the film.
