This incredible album was John McLaughlin's return to the electric guitar after disbanding his group Shakti.While going back to his more familiar Jazz Fusion style this album is a totally new sound experience then from his Mahavishnu Orchestra or previous Jazz Fusion solo albums.Sporting an all star group of featured musicians including: Carlos Santana, Jerry Goodman, Billy Cobham, Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Jack DeJohnette and Narada Michael Walden there is not a bad song on the album.If your a fan of fusion from the first track on you will be hooked, this is one of the finest Jazz albums of the 70's and a must own.
