Stina Andersdotter - Starling & Oak Tree (2019)

The musician and composer Stina Andersdotter has brought together musicians from different genres and generations to interpret her music. With the jazz tradition in the back, Stina has taken inspiration from Ghana, via Bern and Takhar and finally lands in an oak forest in Öland. A star in Majorna, with his social talent and humorous sounds, has made his contribution to the record. Singer Linn Thelandersson is the narrator who, together with saxophonist Ove Ingemarsson, produces the melodies. Pianist Anders Persson brings the vibrant colors to life. Together with drummer Terje Sundby, bassist Stina Andersdotter creates a solid rhythmic foundation. From time to time, Blagoj Lamnjov spices with dreamy clarinet and dove loops. In addition, playful improvisations are added to Stina's personal compositions.
