Remarkable unique blend of traditional Ukranian folk with modern progressive rock, ambient atmospheres and distinctive guitar and bass playing. Topped with the remarkable voice and harmonies of Ukraine's premier traditional singer in a modern context. UK based bassist/rhythm programmer Colin Edwin and American experimental guitarist Jon Durant once again collaborate, this time with the remarkable Ukranian singer Inna Kovtun. Bridging musical cultures and the vast distance between the artists, the music spans traditional folk songs and very modern progressive rock and ambient textures. This eclectic music will at times remind listeners of The Cocteau Twins or Dead Can Dance, but with the very unique approaches that Durant and Edwin bring to the compositions. All topped with the epic melodies and harmonies that Kovtun provides. Italian drummer Roberto Gualdi finishes it all off with some stunning performances on several tracks.
