Willamette Singers - That Old Black Magic (2019)

The Willamette Singers is a 15-member ensemble that explores music particularly suitable to small groups of highly skilled and flexible vocalists. Willamette is one of the few four-year universities in Oregon that offers experience in vocal jazz. The Willamette Singers participate in a yearly tour, and in recent years have been invited to perform for many regional, national and international conventions of the ACDA, the OMEA, the Music Educators National Conference and the International Association of Jazz Educators. The Willamette Singers released their latest album, "Image on Image", in Fall 2018. Students recorded the album at the renowned Studio X in Seattle, Washington. The Willamette Singers have been recognized as the Best Large Undergraduate Vocal Jazz ensemble for three out of the last five years by Downbeat Magazine.
