Three Blind Mice Blu-spec CD reissue series. Limited paper sleeve edition. With his stunning debut album Blow Up in 1973, bassist Isao Suzuki quickly became a star musician in the roster of the Three Blind Mice label. Ako's Dream was his seventh album, and as the jacket and the title suggest, it is dedicated to his young baby girl named Ako.

Suzuki, who plays cello throughout, is supported by two big names – on guitar and Tsuyoshi Yamamoto on piano, electric piano and synthesizer, as well as three younger musicians on guitar, bass and drums. The overall mood of the program is contemporary, bluesy and funky. The title track is a gentle piece that reflects Suzuki's love for his young child, which is followed by a happy, bouncy number "Isao Family" which refers not only to his real family but also to his "family" of musicians.

Produced by Takeshi Fujii. Recorded at Epicurus Studio in Tokyo on October 19 & 27, 1976.
