I consider Soul Lounge a much better listen than The Poe House. I suppose it's a matter of what you want. Soul Lounge is quieter, smoother and more easy listening. It's mesmerizing. Although I am not currently a musician, I was President of Band with two years of piano. Raised on Classical and Church Standards, a drummer and rock & roll lover, at 61 I have listened to all genres all my life. Smooth Jazz has become my all time love and I am very picky about it. I only listen to "organized" jazz that carries a melody, if you know what I mean. These guys are genius. They are truly blessed. Soul Lounge is their first music I ever heard. It is the epitome of "easy listening" that fills the soul and warms the heart, or visa versa. This music is incredible. "Deep Chill" is incredible and the sample gives no clue to it's awesomeness, nor do any of the other samples. This album gets played over and over again. Bona Fide, please don't ever quit making this music!
