All that's good, and plenty more – as the set's one of the most unusual records ever from free-thinking Hammond player Freddie Roach! Roach was always one of the more righteous talents of his generation – but here, he takes things even further, but playing in a "with voices" style that's similar to some of Donald Byrd and Max Roach's experiments with Coleridge Perkinson!

Roach still uses plenty of Hammond on the set – in the lead of a group that includes Conrad Lester on tenor and Calvin Newborn on guitar – but the record also features three singers adding in some soulful vocal choruses with the instrumentation – not in a vocal jazz way, but more in a spiritual tone that really adds a lot to the sound! Roach both wrote most of the work and the notes for the set – definitely one of the more intellectual Hammond players of his day – and titles include "All That's Good", "Blues For 007", "Cloud 788", "Journeyman", and "Loie".
