Recorded in the gaps between contract jobs, the music jumps between different styles, yet remains tied together by the choppy beats and airy melodies, punctuated with moments of relative darkness. Harmonic Residue stutters along haphazardly with the tempo sliding around twinkling synth stabs and a detuned brassy motif. Spectral Vulnerabilities takes us down a darker path of swirling harmonies and pulsing kicks - even here, though, there is light peaking through.
