With the 3rd Album of his band Vibe Tribe you can easily see, how composer and guitarist Richard Schumacher not only continues his successfull combination of different music styles, but again knows to lift the benchmark by presenting quite an impressive cast, including the likes of Jack Bruce, Eric Bibb, Bill Evans, as well as Russ Ferrante, Will kennedy and Jim Haslip of the Yellowjackets, Terri Lyne Carrington, Mitch Foreman and Dave Weckl. From funky and driving pieces like 'The Sign' to soulfull ballads like 'Here I am' featuring Jack Bruce, or the lovely 'African Chant', this journey will never cease to fascinate the listener, leading up the breath taking 'Faces', with its childrens choir and highflying violinist Karen Briggs.

Besides all the spirited performances, last not least it is the outstanding production from Richard Schumacher & Reinhard Karwatky, which only underlines their reputation for the best in state of the art recording. The album was produced in L.A., New York and Hamburg, and mixed by Phil Magnotti, who´s credits include the Brecker brothers, Mike Stern and Bill Evans.
