Offshoot by former members of "Paul Revere & The Raiders" and "Brotherhood" (1969, Los Angeles, USA)
A US one-off (ex)temporary experimental rock commune named FRIENDSOUND were formed in 1969, by Drake LEVIN (guitars), Phil VOLK (bass), Michael SMITH (drums), and lots of session musicians.
Drake, Phil, and Michael founded a rock combo Brotherhood in 1968 after stepping down from Paul Revere & The Raiders. Brotherhood had released two albums upon RCA from 1968 until 1969, whilst FRIENDSOUND burst out (and disappeared) around Brotherhood between their two releases, we can say.
FRIENDSOUND launched "Joyride" in 1969 upon RCA, in the vanguard of US experimental rock scene.
