Slatta - Darker Shades of Dark (2019)

Gerard John aka Slatta is a versatile artist from the island Carriacou (Sister Isle Of Grenada). He grew up in the village of Mt. Royal. At a young age Slatta grew an interest to music, he linked up with the producers of Xpert Studio where he built a working relationship & joined the team in 2010. In 2014 he gained the Carriacou Road March title with the song “Heart Of The Fete” a collaboration with the now 3 times Grenada Groovy Monarch “Shortpree.” In 2016 Slatta gained the attention of a lot of listeners with his songs, “Jab Jab Skank" & went on to capture the 2017 Carriacou Soca Monarch title with the song “World War.” He has since went on to produce known hits like "In The Morning" Featuring Lavaman, Unbothred, Wukking High & Gone Through.
