Spontaneous music creation from the mind and spirits of Barney Cortez and Nick Bockrath.

If you must know, Barney and Nick are musicians from Philly who have a rambling and impressive list of credentials. Together they are two parts of Nico’s Gun. A CAPA and Uarts grad, Barney has worked with The Roots, Beanie Siegel, Melody Gardot, and more. Nick has mastered the art of appearing everywhere at once, working with American Babies, the Disco Biscuits, Morning Teleportation, Elevator Fight, and many more. Guests in the studio include Harry Zelnick, Eric Slick, Tom Hamilton, and David Butler. All tracks are recorded to 2 inch tape by Philly engineer Matt Schenck. The result - spontaneous music creation that explores the inner and outer worlds.
