Noel Pointer - Feel It (1979) [2012] CD-Rip

Considered one of the top violinists in the jazz field, the late Noel Pointer also established a solid following for himself among soul and funk music lovers thanks to a series of great albums recorded between 1977 and 1993 (one year before his passing at the young age of 39).
Released in 1979, FEEL IT was the Brooklyn-born musician’s third album for United Artists. Unlike its predecessors, Noel self-produced the five-track album working with renowned former Motown arranger Paul Riser, Philly songwriter/producer Bruce Hawes (who mixed the album) and stellar musicians such as keyboardists Richard Tee, Michael Boddicker and Onaje Allan Gumbs, Hiram Bullock (guitar), Will Lee (bass), Quinton Denard (drums) and all-star background vocalists such as Gwen Guthrie, Jon Lucien, Ray Simpson, the Jones Girls and Noel’s mother, Louviania.
FEEL IT became Noel’s second best-selling album, reaching No. 6 on the U.S. jazz charts and No. 59 on the U.S. R&B charts, sparked by Noel’s only U.S. charted single, the dance-inspired “For You (A Disco Concerto).
