Karen Sharp - Another Place (2020)

Multi-award-winning saxophonist Karen Sharp has joined forces with two of the UK's premier jazz artists, Simon Thorpe and Colin Oxley for this album, 'Another Place'.

Recorded, released and produced by the trio, the music you will hear reflects a shared love of creative interplay and improvisation together with a deep respect for the jazz tradition. The album features exquisite tunes by the likes of Steve Swallow, Bill Evans, Jobim and Clare Fisher as well as some recent compositions by Thorpe and Sharp, all given a relaxed and intimate treatment by the trio.
