Antinranta - Ne jotka olivat ennen meitä (2020) [Hi-Res]

Annina Antinranta has written and produced several albums and worked with various artists, nowadays composing music for Television and Film. She is best known from being a lead singer and lyricist for the Finnish progressive rock band Tuvalu (2003-2010), and to many she is known from her award-winning 20+ years in Design.

Antinranta has consistently written and produced music that explores the relationship between a human and machines: Tuvalu - Pimeä saartaa meitä (2006), Tuvalu - Viimeiset Hetket ovat käsillä.?! (2008), Tuvalu - Tuvalu (2010), Passing Human Parade - Passing Human Parade (2013).
In her new album: Ne, jotka olivat ennen meitä (The ones who were here before us) she takes us to a journey into the ancient Finnish folklore and landscapes around Finland. The Nordic folk noir album is scheduled to be released in February 2020. It’s a dark and melancholic combination of classical composition and synthesisers. The album contains full versions of the songs originally written to a short film Carina Tarinasta Koruun (2019) and new music inspired by a Finnish building complex Pauanne, which originally was built on top of an ancient ritual area Puhkionkallio.

Antinranta has composed music for short films, such as Carina tarinasta koruun (2019) and worked with several bands, such as Passing Human Parade 2011 - present (producer, composer, lyricist, arrangements, pre-mix, programming, piano, vocals), Tuvalu (vocals, keyboard, theremin, lyrics), Normenon (a cappella) and Myyt 1998 - 2002 (vocals, lyrics). In 2011, Antinranta was interviewed for the book: Tuukka Hämäläinen: Kirosäkeet, 20 uuden suomirokin sanoittajaa. Her main instruments are piano and vocals.
