The one and only, PJ Morton is back. Today the singer/songwriter returns with a brand new project for our listening enjoyment. Mr. Morton serves up, ‘The Piano Album,’ which arrives after his win at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards for Best R&B Song. The new project is certainly one worth rocking with, packed full of smooth vibes and contagious sounds. PJ delivers something special, offering up a follow up to 2019’s PAUL.
The album includes twelve brand new tracks, offering an acoustic take of songs from his catalog. Speaking about the album and his creative process, PJ Morton stated: “Sat at the piano, invited some friends over and sang some songs.” The album is littered with some incredibly catchy gems. Some of our favorites include “Don’t Break My Heart” with Rapsody, “Go Thru Your Phone,” “Kid Again,” and “Alright.” PJ never lets us down, and he certainly doesn’t start with this one.
