Norma Ensemble - Revelation (2020)

It's called "Revelation", the first album of the Norma Ensemble formed by saxophonist Marcello Allulli, pianist Enrico Zanisi, double bass player Jacopo Ferrazza and drummer Valerio Vantaggio; the album will be presented tomorrow, Saturday 29 February, at the Casa del Jazz in Rome and in June in three concerts in the United States.

To determine the sound of the group was first a tour in Zimbabwe and Zambia, and then the news of other concerts in the United States in spring 2020. From here, the succession of new connotations and the choice of the acronym Do not oppose resistance but listen, which loads the work of further extra-musical meanings,

The album contains all songs written and composed by Allulli, Zanisi, Ferrazza and Vantaggio. Eight tracks that outline the 4 musical souls of the group.
