“Daydreams”, the first album project of Bilge Günaydın, has eight tracks, all of which consist of the pianist's own compositions and arrangements. In this album, which took quintet music to its center and composed of music between the two saxophones and the arrangement of strong melodic structures, very valuable musicians played. Serhan Erkol and Tamer Temel on saxophones, Bilge Günaydın on piano and synths, Kağan Yıldız and Apostolos Sideris on double bass and Berke Özgümüş on drums were the core cast of the album. Cenk Erdogan took his place with his fretless guitar in the music titled “Üvercinka”, which was written by the pianist for the poem named “Üvercinka” and especially for the musicians playing in this album, “İstanbulin Cats”. Another guest of the album was Esra Kayıkçı, who took part in the song "Snow" with her voice. Mixes belong to Hayyam Studios, Sinan Sakızlı, and mastering belongs to Grammy award-winning sound technician Dave Darlington. Writing music is actually a process on dreaming where you can leave all those theoretical requirements behind and creating a space of your own with these dreams. As the name suggests, in this first album called "Daydreams", Bilge Günaydın brings his own subjective world, which he created and decomposed in the course of life, to the audience.
