Pianist Joe McBride delivers his trademark jazz-pop on Keys to Our Heart. "Let's Spend Some Time Together" is a quiet storm-ready ballad featuring McBride's burnished vocals alongside vocalist Analisa Ripke, while "Squeeze Play" is a funky dance track. McBride's music always leans toward the pop end of the jazz-pop spectrum, and this disc is no exception. While some of the songs featuring catchy melodies, the album is overly reliant on drum machines, electronic keyboards, and lack of anything remotely harmonically challenging, making for little to recommend here. ~ Matt Collar -- AllMusic.com
