Torin Borrowdale - Locke & Key (Music from the Netflix Original Series) (2020)

Torin Borrowdale is a film composer who collaborates with directors and producers to craft memorable and emotive scores.

Borrowdale scores Netflix’s Original Series, LOCKE & KEY, produced by Carlton Cuse and starring Darby Stanchfield; Michael Nader’s THE TOLL, starring Jordan Hayes, which will premiere at the 2020 SXSW Film Festival; and Lionsgate’s upcoming feature film RUN—Borrowdale’s third collaboration with director, Aneesh Chaganty—starring Sarah Paulson and Kiera Allen, which will premiere May 8, 2020.

Borrowdale previously worked on Chaganty’s moving Mother’s Day spot for Google, SEEDS and SEARCHING, starring John Cho, which premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival where it was picked up by Sony Pictures for worldwide distribution.

Additional credits include D.C. Hamilton’s action thriller, THE MIDNIGHT MAN, starring Will Kemp, William Forsythe and Brent Sinner; THE FARE, starring Gino Anthony Pesi; the “zen mode” music for Snowman’s hit iOS games “Alto’s Adventure” and “Alto’s Odyssey”; Apple Arcade’s iOS game “Where Cards Fall”; and more.

Borrowdale studied film scoring at the University of Southern California and currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Sarah. In his leisure time, he enjoys being in nature and playing chess.
