Juice Newton - Emotion (1987)

Juice Newton's "Emotion" album lives up to it's name, delivering beautiful and at times haunting songs rich in emotion and feeling. While the subjects of simple times and heartbreak were not new to her repertoire, on "Emotion" Juice approaches them from a new angle. Focusing almost exclusively on ballads and mellow beats this is one album where you don't want to skip a single track. At the same time, each track packs an emotional punch, and isn't necessarily a light listen despite the mellow sound.
