Moisés is a restless musician, knowledgeable and lover of a wide variety of musical styles, whose influences from the symphonic rock of the seventies, classical music and contemporary music, he incorporates in a very personal way his way of understanding jazz, achieving that his compositions are intense and delicate symphonies, that surround us in a winding sonorous torrent full of subtle and unexpected twists, from which it is difficult to get off once the journey has begun.
“There’s always madness” is therefore an elaborate and complex work that appeals to “madness” as a powerful creative engine in these strange times that we have had to live. Moisés also demands “time” for his listening, something that we usually do not have in this crazy world and that is that this album deserves 50 minutes of concentrated and relaxed listening, preferably in the living room without the mobile phone or any other junk within reach.
For this very special project, Moisés P. Sánchez has surrounded himself with musicians of his confidence, widely known to fans of the genre, such as bassist Toño Miguel, drummer Borja Barrueta, singer Cristina Mora and trumpeter Miron Rafajlovic who moments he parks his wind metals to wield the electric guitar.
