With this suggestive title comes the new work of the Tony Manero Foundation. A return to the most discotheque side of the band after the intimate 'Common Places', and one more twist to its sound and speech. Ten songs that evoke the disco sound of the Boogie of the early 80s, where the synthesizers coexist with the arrangements of bombastic winds, and the guitars set the rhythm on the ubiquitous bass drum. And where, as always, Paquito Sex Machine shines with its soulero register, Miguelito Superstar puts the flow, and Lalo López acts as vocalist in two songs.
But in addition, the Foundation has two high-profile guest singers within the current Soul and Funk scene: the Australian Joel Sarakula in 'Words', and the funk phenomenon emerged from Havana, Cimafunk, in 'Musicofilia'. FTM has also had José Luís Pardo, a former member of Los Amigos Invisibles and a renowned producer in the Latin music scene and based in NYC, as producer and co-composer of the housero 'Se Acabado Lo Que Daba'.
