Reanimated from the premature grave of trip-hop comes OMA DESALA. The Trondheim based collective carve out their home somewhere between smoked out beats and lush, cinematic darkness.
Informed by everything from hip-hop and psych-rock to jazz, OMA DESALA create down-tempo dreamscapes designed to grab you by the ears and transport you away from the troubled times we live in. Slow, heavy rhythms mesh with elastic bass lines to form the foundation for tripped out samples, guitars and electronics, all topped with jazzy, laid-back vocals.
“Learn To Enjoy Losing”, the groups soulful debut album, is set for release April 17th, 2020 on Stundom Records. The ten track effort center around dystopian themes and display OMA DESALA’s warm, organic sound in full effect.
