The Parks Project - Space Jazz (2018)

"The Parks Project" is an instrumental group led by Austin-based drummer, Aaron Parks. The album, "Space Jazz", features Daniel "Lit Du" Durham on upright and electric basses, Wilson Marks on electric guitar, Stephen Smith on electric piano, and Justin Vasquez on tenor and alto saxophones. "Space Jazz" takes the jazz approach of soloing over a form and combines it with a tinge of psychedelic production. The album was tracked mostly live on August 12th and 13th, 2017, at King Electric Recording with Justin Douglas, who also mixed and mastered it. Enjoy!
