Hans Mullens - Thieves of the Wood (Original Series Soundtrack) (2020) [Hi-Res]

Film composers Michelino Bisceglia (BE) and Hans Mullens (BE) have been soulmates for almost a lifetime. Going their own musical ways, they understood and appreciated each other’s artistic adventures. They both composed and arranged soundtracks for films and other media.
They joined again as ‘Svínhunder’, often like-minded, but also challenging one another: an experimental playground for piano, an acoustic or electric bass line combined with sound design and electronics. Adding drums and strings from the renowned Brussels string quartet 'Echo Collective', completes the sound spectrum of Svínhunder. By adding visuals to the live performance, visual artist Eric Engels proves that Svínhunder’s hybrid music is inextricably linked to image. It’s as if the film is being added to the soundtrack.
At the end of 2019 they launched their first EP Anna.
This collaboration continues as they recently scored the music to Belgian historical-drama Thieves of the Wood. The show is already available on Netflix (except in Belgium), and the soundtrack will be released in April 2020.

ABOUT MICHELINO BISCEGLIA
Michelino Bisceglia has already composed the soundtracks for multiple feature films. Some of these films were screened at the Cannes Film Festival and Venice International Film Festival. His soundtrack for the film Marina (about the childhood memories of Rocco Granata) won a World Soundtrack Award in 2014. Bisceglia occasionally also arranges, orchestrates and conducts soundtracks for other film composers all over the world. His contribution to the animated film Cafard composed by Hans Helewaut and the feature film Duelles composed by Frédéric Vercheval also won the World Soundtrack Award in 2016 and in 2019 for best Belgian Score.

ABOUT HANS MULLENS
Hans Mullens has been a professional musician, composer, arranger, sound designer and music programmer for over 30 years. He is affiliated with the international sound production company Sonhouse and has completed dozens of assignments for the post-production of films (including Cafard (2015) and Il était une fois, une fois (2012)), TV series (including the six-part Swiss TV Quartier des Bancs series (2017)), documentaries, animated series and advertising spots. As a musician, Hans has performed with bands such as Buscemi, Arsenal or Guido Belcanto. Last year he toured with Placenta plays Placebo. Currently he is making experimental jazz music with the brand-new band Kameel.
