Meta and the Cornerstones - Ancient Power (Extended Edition) (2016)

Meta Dia is already a rising star in his country of birth Senegal, West Africa. In 2000 his group Yalla Suuren (God Bless) was nominated for the 'Best Hip Hop/Reggae Group' award by the French Cultural Center, in Senegal. Moving to the USA in 2002, he began to collaborate with artists such as Sean Blackman, hip hop pioneer Toni Blackman and many others. He formed the band Meta and the Cornerstones with some of the best musicians in New York City: Adrian Djoman(bass); Shahar Mintz (solo guitar); Andre Daniel (Keyboards) and Ian Joseph (Drums) and Daniel Serrato (Guitar) who brought their musical influences of the Caribbean, Africa, America and the Middle East into the mix.
