Skousen & Ingemann was a Danish rock band formed in 1970 in Copenhagen. The band was initially inspired by old Danish folk songs. Their first release was a continuation of the spirit of Eik Skaløe, from the Steppe Wolfs; both orchestras are very typical of the hippie era. At an anniversary concert, "Niels Skousen 40 years in Danish rock", Niels Skousen marked that it was 40 years since he debuted as a composer and copywriter with "From where we stand" (Niels Skousen has written lyrics and music for all songs on the album) . Skousen & Ingemann played 1st set for a sold out house in Vega in Copenhagen. In the second set Niels Skousens went on stage with newer songs and new band.
The concert "Niels Skousen 40 years in Danish rock" is released on DVD and CD. The reviews of the concert were overwhelmingly positive. [1] From where we stand is included on the publication Danish Rock History 1965-1978, vol. II.
