Dennis Bune - Future Disco Life (2020)

Dennis Bune is a 30-year scene veteran from Haarlem in The Netherlands. But if all you'd heard was this album, you'd be forgiven for assuming he hailed from Europe's opposite corner, because the 10 tracks on offer all have that hazy, sun-drenched, vaguely 80s-tinted vibe that's so beloved of nu-disco producers from Croatia, Slovenia etc. If you're a fan of the Nang Records sound, you'll find much to enjoy here; if you like things a little more 'raw' you may find it all a tad same-y, though new wave touches ('Push The Button') and hints of Balearic prog ('Elevate' and others) help to maintain the interest.
