Andy Lindquist - Mississippi Mud (2016)

This is my third Blues offering. I took some very different approaches with this record. I wanted it to be fresh and different. When I was 20 years old I was lucky enough to see John Lee Hooker live. I stood at his feet in absolute awe. He had an amazing mojo that couldn't be described in earthly terms. I touched his foot, he smiled real big and I swear he gave this little white boy from North Dakota, something from the Heavenlies! I grew up on Mighty Joe Young, Koko Taylor, Howling Wolf and Muddy Waters. These people were the real deal to me! And of course a tip of the hat to my British hero's, Eric Clapton and Bill Nelson. I hope you enjoy this album. I purposely made it move in a snake like up and down pace. And thanks John Lee Hooker, for that much needed Mojo!
