This release includes two complete LPs by the celebrated Swedish baritone saxophonist Lars Gullin (1928-1976): Baritone Sax (Atlantic LP 1246), and Lars Gullin Swings (East West 4003), as well as all other master takes from the sessions that produced those albums. As a bonus, a further studio sessions by Gullin (unrelated to the two albums), as well as a live version of “Lover Come Back to Me”, which is the only preserved tune from that concert.
