Stan Breckenridge’s performance career, as a vocalist and pianist has spanned the globe delighting audiences in France, Hong Kong, Hungary, Japan, U.K., Poland, and many cities throughout the United States. National performance venues over the years have included The Dorothy Chandler Pavillion, The Greek Theater, The Los Angeles Forum, The Los Angeles Sports Arena, The Embassy Hotel, Capitol Records, T.V. Channels 5, 11 and KOCE, Maverick’s Flats, and many others. He has appeared with and/or performed for personalities such as Madeleine Albright, Scott Baio, Bobby Blue Bland, Bill Cosby, The Five Blind Boys of Alabama, Rosie Grier, Merv Griffin, Mahalia Jackson, Jerry Lewis, Moms Mabley, Greg Morris, Martha Reeves (of the Vandellas), Sam Riddle, Rowan & Martin, David Ruffin (of the Temptations), Avery Schriber, Nancy Sinatra, John Travolta, John Wayne, and others. Stan Breckenridge recently created The Education Through Music Performance program, which is a series that seeks to educate audiences of all ages about various aspects of music, people, culture, and history through live and in-person performance. Program examples include "African American Women That Greatly Contributed To Music," "Soul Music of the 1960s," "A History of American Song," "African American Women Singers of Early Black Theater and Film," "A History of Gospel Music," "Rhythmic Gestures As Definitive Attributes in Selected Piano Styles," "First" Accomplishments in Music by African Americans," "Noted Women Vocalists of Blues, Classical, Gospel, and Jazz," and others. Aoidé is the featured performer on this soon-to-be released educational series. Aoidé is a delightful vocal trio that presents educational performances in an entertaining and engaging fashion through music, drama, dance, and audience participation.

As a composer Stan Breckenridge's most recent work includes an original score for a DVD that documents the building of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in Washington, DC (produced by Explorer Studios, and The Black Chamber of Orange County, as the executive producer). He also wrote a piece for a Clois du Bois commercial that targeted a sophisticated audience of professionals whose taste for wine is just as sophisticated. Stan Breckenridge has composed and arranged for other artists as well.
