Duke Ellington - Paris Blues (2020) [Hi-Res]

The legendary Duke Ellington received an Academy Award nomination for the music to this 1961 film about two jazz musicians with romantic problems in Paris. The film stars Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Diahann Carroll, Sidney Poitier, and Louis Armstrong. The beautiful score, jazzy and evocative of Paris in the '60s, also features Louis Armstrong on one track, and the track "Battle Royal" is a must for jazz lovers.
