Having had his musical education as a founding member of Dutch funk legends JD Construction and having toured extensively with The Bob Color, SAX DJ Elio now divides his time between saxophone playing and DJ-ing, as well as studio work and live projects. He loves to combine live music with real-time sequencing and sampling tools like Ableton Live and Reason. He is also freelancing with people like Hans Dulfer, Kiers & De Vries and Dutch Jazz Diva Lils Mackintosch and master percussionist Eddie Conard.

As a remixer and producer, he remixed tracks for JazzBeatsNOW, and the Latin Lounge party and funkateers Seven Eleven. Having developed the BEATS 'N SAX live set, he has now taken a unique place in the DJ-scene. During DJ-ing he is playing live saxophone to specially composed funky house and Lounge beats. This adds new flavors and energy to the set!
