Tapage & Tokee - The Collider Circle (2020)

in a collaboration spanning well over a year, tokee and tapage have challenged each other with their unfinished compositions, small scraps of sonic materials waiting to be rediscovered, polished and placed into a fitting context.

this point of departure has taken them on an unexpected journey, rerevisiting the sounds over and over again, listening... analysing and slowly sculpting a vision of where to take each others work.

this process of reinvention, has taken the duo on a winding path, encountering moments of stillness where the work just needed to rest for some time, while other passages were filled with brooding activity, reshaping the material into oblivion

and then, rather suddenly, the journey brought them back, not quite to where they started out, as the experience has left its sonic scars, but still as a completed circle, marked by the collisions of the mind.
