From Cuba to Africa, via Balkan Macedonia, it is a new continent of sound that offers us the meeting of pianist Omar Sosa and multi-instrumentalist Stracho Temelkovski.

Through their musical itineraries, a new repertoire is born, where traditional music resonates and is combined with jazz accents.

The piano mingles with the bass, the beatbox and the mandola; A contemporary and polychrome musical palette emerges, a variety of subtle and innovative scales.

Taking its source in their respective spiritualities, as much in the tradition as in the artistic freedom, the richness of the stamps and the sounds that the two artists offer us translates into a real energy.

It is this universe as rich as it is fascinating that we discover, in the digital EP Live in Seynod, recorded on January 9, 2020 and released in July 2020.

Pianist Omar Sosa, originally from Cuba, is based in Barcelona. His musical journey led him to be inspired by traditional Cuban music to enroll in jazz, hip-hop or African music.

The multi-instrumentalist Stracho Temelkovski, residing in Grenoble, meanwhile, is from Macedonia, a country located in the Balkan peninsula where he particularly likes asymmetric rhythms. His musical universe is also based on urban, cosmopolitan sounds reflecting a desire to place emotions at the heart of creation.
