Produced by John Parish (PJ Harvey), Monsters in Love is the fifth studio album from eccentric French rock outfit Dionysos. Inspired by the death of lead singer Mathias Malzieu's mother, its 16 English- and French-language tracks were the band's most personal to date. Released in 2005, the follow-up to Western Sous la Neige included the single "La Metamorphose de Mister Chat" and a collaboration with U.K. garage rock duo the Kills ("Old Child").
