Dark0 - ZERO2 (2020)

Keeping it freshest while climbing the grapevine with releases on Gobstopper, Lost Codes and XL Recordings (not to mention a release with [Adult Swin]) over the past few years, North West London producer scratches it up on Year0001. Almost a coup of a release given the artist's meteoric rise, Dark0's mix of post-rave, trance and pop finds a perfect home on the Stockholm label. Diving deep into the fiber optics of digital new age music with tracks like "Hardwire", "2. Eye Ignite (feat 0comeups)" and "Opia (feat Visionist)", taffy vocal elements are key here, while on a slight exotic tip there's the chipmunk piano rave of "Tooly" next to the neon Tokyo piano ballad "After Years" that's good enough to soundtrack any Konami RPG!
