Violin, Ukulele, Banjo, a miniture piano, the double bass and many more: The Red Chucks love to play music (Oldtimejazz, Swing, Bluegrass) from the 1920s up to the 1960s in their own unique unplugged version. The three professional musicians based in Berlin are living the dream of playing music with no boundaries. They rotate the collection of instruments and sing in harmony to create a characteristic sound. Entertainment and happy thoughts are guaranteed when the Red Chucks stand on stage.
The Red Chucks often play events where people come together to have a good time. They don’t mind when the audience gets talks with each other, but of course they love to see the crowd dance. If requested the band can also teach a 20 – minute crash course in Lindy-Hop (a dance from the 1930s). This might encourage everyone to try the first steps and create a group feeling no one will forget.
Another specialty is the program of traditional berlin songs from the 1920s and 30s. Most local people will know the songs and can join in.
