Al Green - Precious Lord / I'll Rise Again (2002)

Precious Lord, cut in Nashville with predominantly country musicians, won the 1982 Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album. And 1983's Memphis-made I'll Rise Again still stands as perhaps Green's greatest Gospel music achievement to date. Both albums make their CD debut in an attractive package with a sleevenote by Blues and Soul Magazine writer Tony Rounce. Cream/Hi Records. 2002.
