John Midelfart Rivertz (1902-1988) is a very special musician in the Norwegian music history. And pianist Rune Alver brings Rivertz’s compositions to life on this recording. The album is entitled ‘Play and Dance’, and reflects the folk songs and dances contained on the disc.
