A beautiful warm summer evening, the garden doors wide open, the blackbirds singing their last song, seated at a well-equipped table with your loved one and then .... Out of the blue beautiful piano sounds, and of course also beautifully performed.
A feeling of ultimate happiness and beauty, approaching perfection closely.
The Belarusian pianist Ksenia Kouzmenko plays on a very well conserved Érardvleugel from 1863 a beautiful anthology from the piano repertoire from the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. Here she performs works by Heller, Chopin, Schumann, Debussy, the Falla, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Scriabin and Cuba-based Ignacio Cervantes.
The central theme in this recital is the city of Paris where Érard built his instruments, where many composers stayed, often from other countries and the international cultural image of this city.
