Duo Brady, a cello duo, is located at the borders of chamber music and jazz, and draws its inspiration from the music of South America, the East, India but also the regions of the great North.

Michèle Pierre and Paul Colomb consider their instrument as a laboratory and the cello duo as a means of expressing themselves, arranging, creating and improvising.

Lyrical, rhythmic and almost pop, the music of Duo Brady makes it possible to (re) discover the cello, sometimes guitar, sometimes double bass, sometimes orchestra, an instrument rich in playing modes and with a vibrant and deep timbre.

Paul Colomb Paul Colomb is the winner of the World Music Prize "Icart Sessions" for the program "Ocora Couleurs du monde" on France Musique. A graduate of the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne, he released his first track "Mirage" for cello and electronics in April 2020. He is a member of the quintet of Daniel Mille ("Ciera Tus Ojos" Sony Classique) with which he accompanies Jean-Louis Trintignant (“Trintignant / Mille / Piazzola”, Sony Classique, Grand Prix Charles Cros).

He plays in the Trio "Elles" alongside Sandra Nkake and Ji Dru, improvises in "New the improvised musical", is a member of the Nantes trandisciplinary collective "Collectif Opéra" and performs regularly in the Cello Orchestra of Francois Salque.

Michèle Pierre, a graduate of the CNSM in Paris, founded the Duo Solea with guitarist Armen Doneyan. The two musicians have won several chamber music competition prizes. Their first record about Franco-Spanish friendships at the start of the 20th century is hailed by critics.

Michèle is part of the lyric creation company Miroirs Etendus with which she will perform as a soloist in Beethoven's triple concerto in the 2020-2021 season.

She is the cellist of the Roberta Roman Trio.

She plays with Fred Pallem and Le Sacre du Tympan, François Salque and his cello orchestra, the Daniel Mille quintet.
