Secret Cinema founded Gem Records in 2009 after 15 years in the business. This decision was based on the desire to not only broaden his horizons but also those of people all over the world through quality releases. This long awaited debut album from Pim Van Horssen takes the young Dutch artist in a new musical direction. The Prophet 5 synth takes centre stage on this lush double long player. The album is said to be about rebirth and the culmination of everything he has loved, lost, learned and experienced in the last 10 years as a musician. Embracing a fresh approach that combines the use of numerous pieces of analogue gear and recording his own recordings, the album represents the new sound of SQL in its purest form.
