The HA is a San Francisco based band that plays Beach Funk Americana; music that celebrates the human condition and the gathering of friends. Music to party to.
Formed from the ruins of a pseudo spiritual hedonist musical cult experiment known as Hopi Astronaut, The Human Assembly aka The HA, came to life in the summer of 2014. They've pillaged sounds from modern classics such as Iggy Pop, Waylon Jennings and The Rolling Stones to create the Beach-Funk Americana sound that is uniquely their own. Surf guitar, organ and keys fuse with an upbeat percussion and furious blues harmonica to bring what these beach-bum philosophers refer to as “good time party music”. Though light hearted and jesting on stage, The HA is also serious about bringing some good to the world through their philanthropic Party with Purpose method of bundling fundraisers or food drives with great live shows.
