Brandye - Crossover to Brandye (1978) [Japanese Remastered 2016]

I had never heard of this group until I saw it advertised recently. I took the plunge and am glad I did. A lost gem from 1978 when girl groups were a hot commodity. In researching the group, they provided back up vocals for a lot of recording artists, too. This was their one and only recording. The lead vocalist is along the lines of Alton McClain and Jean Terrell. More like if you mixed the two. Strong vocals and great orchestra....step back into the disco balls and good old days when singers could really sing! I think this is a limited Japanese production, so, grab it while you can!
